About Rev. Lisa Solomon
I believe in the importance of religious understanding. Not that we must agree with each other on details, but that when we come together, we offer each other the gift of respect. I hope as individuals, communities, and nations we can grow in our compassion and empathy for one another. Some of us may name the Divine as God, Jesus, Buddha, Krishna, the Tao; some may feel God’s presence in nature, or as a sense of spirituality within themselves. We are all entitled to decide for ourselves how we perceive that which is greater than ourselves. And, we are entitled to have no religious or spiritual beliefs as well. Our spirituality is like our fingerprint – it is unique to us and it may evolve over our lifetime.
